FAQ

Questions, answered.

Quick answers for line producers and directors of photography planning extra coverage.

01 / Line producersHow does an extra camera unit save production time?

We capture extra angles, inserts and B-roll while cast, crew and lighting are already in place — reducing the need for pickups, extra setups or a return to location.

02 / Line producersHow are scope and costs agreed?

Before the shoot. Share the scene, date, location and coverage needs, and we confirm positions, kit and costs before production.

03 / Line producersCan we try it before committing to a full production?

Yes. Start with one scene or one pilot day and see what the extra coverage adds to your edit.

04 / Line producersWhere do you work?

We are based in Jõhvi, Ida-Viru County, Estonia, and work on location across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden and Norway.

05 / Line producersDoes the extra unit slow down the main unit?

No. A dedicated operator handles the additional coverage around the hero shot, so your main unit stays focused on its own setups.

06 / DOPsWill the footage match my main camera?

We agree lenses, format, recording settings and workflow with your camera department before the shoot. Our Sony FX30 Super 35 bodies take PL glass via an ARRI PL adapter.

07 / DOPsCan you shoot anamorphic?

Anamorphic lens options are available and discussed per project, so the look fits your main unit.

08 / DOPsHow do you keep timecode in sync?

Both cameras run Tentacle SYNC E mkII timecode generators, so the extra angles line up cleanly in the edit.

09 / DOPsCan the cameras go in vehicles and tight spaces?

Yes. The compact bodies and DJI RS gimbals are built for car rigs, tight locations, stabilised moves and inserts.

10 / DOPsWho decides the extra angles?

You do. Each setup is planned around the scene and your visual priorities, and our operator coordinates with you and the main unit on set.
